History of Hemp

Most claims suggest that humankind has used hemp for 12,000 years. However, archaeological evidence suggests that we have used hemp for over 29,000 years!

Industrial hemp was once a dominant crop on the American landscape. This hardy and renewable resource (one of the earliest domesticated plants known, with roots dating back to the Neolithic Age in China) was refined for various industrial applications, including paper, textiles, and cordage.

Over time, the use of industrial hemp has evolved into an even greater variety of products, including health foods, organic body care, clothing, construction materials, biofuels, plastic composites and more (according to one source, more than 25,000 products can be made from hemp).

Low THC Hemp

Hemp oil may help with number of skin conditions, we suggest you research the potential uses with your GP:

  • Supports blemish-prone skin A 2014 study trusted source concludes that hemp oil (nonpsychotropic phytocannabinoid cannabidiol) is a potent and potentially universal anti-acne treatment. 
  • Soothes dry, sensitive skin. A 20-week study trusted source in 2005 concludes that dietary hemp oil resulted in the improvement of eczema symptoms.
  • Deeply hydrating for flaky or irritated skin. A 2015 study trusted source indicates that omega-3 fatty acids, as a nutritional supplement, may be beneficial for a variety of skin issues

20 year old cat with dementia!!

My cat is 20, blind and suffering from dementia and has no intention of leaving this planet just yet. She was very agitated, pacing back and forth, getting herself in some sticky situations and not sleeping which was very worrying so I decided to give her some of my hemp oil that my chiropractor had given me and she totally calmed down after a short while. I then ordered some pet hemp oil which arrived incredibly quickly, unfortunately the recommended dosage didn’t work for her so I just upped it and she was back to being calm, eating and sleeping and not one bit agitated. I now know the signs, give it to her orally and 20 to 30 minutes later she’s her old self again. Pet Hemp Oil is the best thing since sliced bread!!
